Zettabit (Zbit) is a unit of information in computing and telecommunications equal to 1021 bits, defined by International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) in December 1998. Zettabit is confused with zebibit which is defined as 1024 exbibits. The difference between them is that zettabit is a power of 10 number and zebibit power of 2.

Kilobyte (KB) is a unit of information equal to 1000 bytes, defined by International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) in December 1998. However, when referred to main memory or RAM capacity KB is equal to 1024 bytes, but this should now be called a kibibyte.
